DIY Splatter Jeans

I'm a long-time fan of splatter-paint fashions. Whether it's pants or shoes, I like to attempt this look with DIY tools & it's usually way more authentic than buying a pair of pre-splattered pants. So, if you're interested in learning the fine craft of splattering, find a clear space and try this out!

If this is your first time, try grabbing a pair of old jeans that you haven't worn in a while and you will surely give them a whole new life. Just Make sure you properly cover your workspace in newspaper to protect your furniture & floors from getting harmed. You'll also need paint brushes & fabric paint- both which can be purchased at any craft store. Once you've got the supplies then get messy! Keep your strokes & splatters random- because there are no rules in this game.

What to do:

1. Start by brushing random strokes of paint onto your jeans.
2. Using the paintbrush and your hand, gently flick paint spots and splotches to blend with strokes.
3. Let jeans dry flat before wearing, about two hours.
